Acting Principal

Just a reminder that I will be away for the rest of the week while I'm on long service leave with my family. If you need to contact the school, call the front office on 5349 2490 or email Mr Shuttleworth at joshua.shuttleworth@education.vic.gov.au.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parents are now able to book in their Term 1 Parent Teacher Interviews via XUNO. The majority of these interviews will take place next week, except for 1/2A which are on this week. Please log into XUNO to make a time to chat about your child's teacher. These interviews are strictly 15 minutes, so if you require greater time, please speak to your child's teacher to arrange an alternative meeting.

THANK YOU

A huge thank you to the Bendigo Community Bank (Beaufort) who supported our grant application in 2024 and assisted in the purchase of 50 new laptops. This generous support now means that we have one-to-one devices for all students to access, from Prep to Year 6.

Thanks also goes to Stockyard Hill Wind Farm who have provided us with a grant that was used to complete the last section of tiered garden beds near the basketball courts. Our school captains Henry and Lyla will be attending an official presentation of these grants next week.

We have also been lucky enough to receive funding from the Pyrenees Shire Council to assist with installation of a drink fountain near the basketball courts. Thanks to the Council for approving our grant application, and to Central Highlands Water for donating the drink fountain. This will hopefully be installed over the holidays.

Also, thank you to our Parents and Friends and all those who contribute to the fundraising efforts of the school. Money raised through school fundraising also contributed to the overall costs of these devices.

P.S.

Apologies that this newsletter has gone out late. We've had a number of staff absences and interruptions to our normal program over the last fortnight.
