Wellbeing Report

Acting Assistant Principal LPPS.

  • WELLBEING - Over the past few weeks, the focus in classrooms has been on establishing calm and orderly environments to optimise learning. This has involved reinforcing clear routines and expectations for all tasks, ensuring that students understand what is required of them at all times. By creating structured and predictable learning spaces, we are fostering an atmosphere where students feel confident, engaged, and ready to succeed.

  • THRIVE DIARY – just a reminder to purchase your child/ren’s THRIVE diaries. These are a fundamental tool used in the classroom as part of our THRIVE program. They are also used to communicate learning goals, record reading, spelling words and much more.

  • BREAKFAST CLUB – is back up and running! Pop by for some toast, fruit and milk on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 8:30am. Remember to thank our lovely volunteers!

  • BELLA - Our therapy dog, Bella, is back onsite this week! You may have seen her on yard duty or spending time in the art room. Just a reminder to ensure a calm and positive experience for everyone—please have no more than three people patting Bella at a time.

  • iCAN challenge – 50 of our students have been training hard for the upcoming 25km iCAN Challenge walk. If you see them walking the streets before or after school, give them a wave or some words of encouragement! We also appreciate any donations, which will go directly to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
