Duncan Traill, from FN Collective (Johnsonville) is proud to share that he and Team YIP have partnered with Barnardos Aotearoa to raise awareness for 0800 What's Up — a free, confidential helpline for tamariki and rangatahi.
Duncan is thankful for the support of Newlands Intermediate School, where posters have been placed around the school to remind students and their whānau that help is always just a phone call away. Giving a huge shoutout to the school for championing student mental health — and with more initiatives in the pipeline, Duncan Traill & Team YIP are excited to continue supporting youth wellbeing in the community.
Team Churton from FN Collective (Johnsonville) was blown away by the response to their Takeaway @ Churton voucher giveaway. The competition sparked an incredible wave of support for the beloved local eatery, with entries pouring in and plenty of locals sharing their favourite dishes.
Congratulations to Wendy Welsh, who took out the top prize!
Christine Pryde, from FN Riverton had a quacking good time at the Rotary Duck Race! With the current a bit too calm, artificial wind power was cleverly called in to get the ducks moving — much to the delight of the crowd.
It was a fantastic family-friendly event with plenty of laughs and some very happy winners. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the “Give Kids a Chance” fundraiser by purchasing corporate duck tickets. What a great way to give back while having fun!
The Colac Bay Classic Prizegiving was a celebration of surf, community, and incredible support. Following a day in the waves, locals gathered for an evening of connection, recognition, and gratitude.
Christine Pryde, from FN Riverton gave a big shoutout to the amazing sponsors who made the event possible - along with the dedicated committee and volunteers behind the scenes.
A highlight of the night? The spot prize giveaway, of course! Congratulations to Greg Crowther, (Marama Pou) and Jake Ursell, on their wins. It was FN Riverton’s first-ever surfing event — and definitely not the last!
FN Ashburton showed their support for the newly opened local café, The Salty Pig, by popping in for a visit — and they were not disappointed! The team gave a big thumbs-up to the delicious coffee and couldn’t help but admire the mouth-watering food on offer.
