Open Classrooms
On behalf of the staff and students, I would like to extend our gratitude to all the families who attended this afternoon's Open Classrooms event. We hope you enjoyed the time to connect with your child/ren and our staff. Your presence and support are very important to our school community. I also wish to share my appreciation for our amazing staff and students for creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our visitors. Your commitment and enthusiasm were integral in making the event a resounding success.
Special Food Day
I would like to extend my thanks to the Parents' Committee for organising yesterday's Special Food Day. The event was a tremendous success, with students and staff thoroughly enjoying the delicious hot dogs and sushi. Your efforts in planning and executing this event brought immense joy to our school community.
A huge shout-out to all the parents and carers who volunteered their time and energy to help on the day. Your dedication and hard work ensured everything ran smoothly and made the day truly special. We also want to thank the families who supported the event by participating and contributing. Your involvement is greatly appreciated and plays a vital role in fostering a strong and supportive school environment.
Thank you once again for making Special Food Day a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone!
Student Reporting - Parent Feedback Survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the educational experience for our students, we are once again seeking your invaluable feedback on our student reporting template. Following our most recent review in 2023, we aim to ensure that our reports effectively communicate your child's academic and social/emotional progress, and remove unnecessary 'curriculum jargon. '
Your Insights Matter
We understand that clear and meaningful communication is essential in supporting your child's learning journey. Therefore, we would like to understand which sections of the reporting template you find most valuable. Your insights will help us identify the areas that best convey your child's achievements and areas for growth.
Simplifying the Language
One of the key areas we are exploring is the reduction of 'curriculum jargon.' We recognise that educational terminology can sometimes be confusing, and we want to make our reports more accessible and understandable. Our goal is to provide a clear picture of what your child has been learning and how they are progressing, without the need for complex language.
How You Can Help
We kindly ask you to take 2-3min to complete a short survey.
Your feedback is important in helping us create a reporting template that truly meets the needs of our school community. We appreciate your time and effort in providing this valuable input.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we can ensure that our reporting template is a useful document for all parents/carers.
Crazy Hair Day
We are thrilled to celebrate a huge milestone—our students have earned over 400 values tickets this term for consistently demonstrating our school values of Courtesy, Respect, Cooperation, and Responsibility. What an incredible achievement!
Every ticket represents a moment where a student made a positive choice, showed kindness, supported a peer, or acted responsibly in the classroom or playground. These daily actions, while sometimes small, create a strong and respectful school community—and we are so proud of how our students have embraced this.
To recognise and celebrate this amazing effort, we’re holding a Crazy Hair Day on Friday, 4 April! Students are invited to get creative with their hairstyles. We can’t wait to see the colourful, wild, and wacky styles on display!
A big thank you to all of our students for living our school values every day, and to our staff and families for supporting and encouraging these positive behaviours. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Well done, everyone!
Early dismissal on Friday April 4th
Students will be dismissed at 2:30 PM. Please ensure timely pick-up arrangements. If you are unable to collect your child at the earlier dismissal time, please make arrangements with Team Kids.
Have a wonderful holiday break,
Robert
