Maramba Primary School Cross-Country: A Day of Determination and Fun!
On Thursday, Maramba Primary School held its highly anticipated cross-country event under perfect conditions. The sun shone brightly, and a light breeze kept our runners comfortable as they tackled the course. Every student gave their best effort, demonstrating perseverance and school spirit. A special thank you goes out to our parent helpers, who ensured the event ran smoothly, and to our Grade 6 student leaders for expertly marshalling the younger students. The support and encouragement from the whole school community was much appreciated.
There were many standout performances across all age groups, with students pushing themselves to achieve their personal bests. Congratulations to all who participated—crossing the finish line was an achievement in itself, and everyone deserves a well-earned pat on the back! The top 10 finishers in the 9/10, 11, and 12/13 age groups for both boys and girls have now qualified for the District Cross-Country, which will be held in Berwick next term. Notices will be sent out next week with further details. Below are the winners of each age category:
