Inquiry Term 1 - Community

This term, all students are exploring the concept of COMMUNITY. 

In Prep, students will be considering their place in the community. They will be sharing what they know about their family to the rest of the class, learning about how all families are different. 

Our Year 1/2 students will be exploring the services that our community has to offer. They will learn about navigation, to be able to find their way around their local community. Students will explore the sustainable practices that can be seen in our community. 

Year 3/4 students are exploring the First Fleet and the impacts it had on the community of the First Peoples of Australia. They will be looking into what makes a community special.

The Year 5/6 students are examining community through a political lens as they prepare for their camp to Canberra. They will also explore the Stolen Generations and the impact of the First Fleet on the First Peoples of Australia.
