Kitchen Garden

We have seen many changes in our school garden over the last few weeks as we have planted so many seedlings,  mulched and weeded. 

It has been busy in the kitchen with the Grade 3/4 students continuing to produce delicious meals with an emphasis on learning how to work in the kitchen safely, thoughtfully and with joy. 

It has been very satisfying to watch as the Grade 3/4’s are not only cooking, but setting and decorating their tables and then sitting and eating together. A highlight is the conversation cards that most groups enjoy bringing out for a discussion as they eat. One question I enjoyed with a group last week was, “What has been the best day of your life so far?” There were many great responses to this.
