Engaging in our Faith

Stations of the Cross from a Mother's Perspective
Join us for Stations of the Cross, told from Mary's point of view. This is a beautiful time to reflect on the love and sacrifice that defines our faith.
Parents will be taking us through this moving passion story, and all are invited to be a part of the reflection by attending. We hope to see you there.
Date & Time: Thursday, April 10 at 9:00am - 9.40 am
Location: MacKillop Hall
Let us come together in prayer, reflection, and remembrance.
Our next family weekend Masses for specific classes will be on: -
Sunday 18 May @6 pm Year 3.
Sunday 24 August @10.15 am Family Mass with Year 1 & 2 and morning tea. If you are able to attend and would like to be involved in reading, please email me asap. It is part of our Catholic teaching that active participation in the Mass is encouraged by all. Did you know that even attending Mass is seen as active participation as our presence is so valued by God.
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month is the designated children's Mass that the Parish celebrates regularly. All faiths welcome! If you or your child would like to read together at one of the regular Parish Masses, please email Kate Falzon at the Parish on youth@lindfieldkillara.org.au
Want to know more about the Catholic faith, EVEN IF you are Catholic?
Broken Bay have issued "The Catholic Handbook" written particularly for parents in our schools. If you would like a hard copy of one, we have about 20 copies in the office so please let me know if you would like one by emailing me.
THE EASTER TRIDUUM - please check the Parish website for all our Easter Mass times. The Triduum refers to the period of three days (tri = three) that begins with Holy Thursday, including Good Friday and then culminating in the Easter Vigil on Saturday night or Easter Sunday. Easter is seen as the most important season of the Catholic calendar because Jesus' death on the cross reveals God's enduring love for us and the resurrection reveals that we believe that life does not end once we die. This is the Good News.
