Middle School Report
Message from the AP - Middle School
Our Middle School students continue to demonstrate dedication, creativity, and teamwork across a variety of exciting initiatives. From the Year 9 Innovations Program, to subject selection and career planning sessions, students have engaged deeply with their learning and personal growth. The Year 8 students impressed everyone with their thoughtful contributions to community-focused projects, showcasing their compassion and awareness of how they can make a difference. Our Year 7 students have continued to connect to our College community and have been able to celebrate their hard work through special events organised to recognise their efforts. Special thanks to our dedicated teachers, who have guided students through this term with enthusiasm and care, ensuring that each activity provided valuable learning experiences.
Our students also participated in a range of events that have enriched their school experience. From athletics to arts showcases, they gave their all in both classroom learning and extracurricular activities. The highlight for many was the planning and preparation for our upcoming school fete, where our Year 9 students have taken on leadership roles to help make it a success. We are proud of the effort and spirit shown by everyone, especially with the students' passion for creating a meaningful community event. Our Middle School continues to shine, and we look forward to seeing more achievements in the coming months.

It was wonderful to see so many Year 8 students taking advantage of the opportunity to show their house pride by dressing up, enjoying the day by cheering on their friends, and embracing the day by competing in multiple events. Congratulations to all students who participated in the day's activities!!
This semester, classes 8A-8E have participated in a Community Project program aimed at establishing connections between our college and Edgars Creek Primary School. Our students demonstrated our college values with pride and were excellent role models for the younger students. It was a delight to observe our Year 8 students supporting prep students with their craft tasks and being ambassadors for our school. Students in these classes have had the opportunity over the last two weeks to cook in our school kitchens as a part of this program, and it has been great to observe students embrace this activity with enthusiasm.
As we approach the final weeks of Term 4 and prepare to farewell Year 8, the leadership team encourage our students to celebrate this amazing milestone of another year completed by participating in the Funfields excursion (Tuesday 10 December), Scienceworks excursion (Wednesday 4 December and Thursday 5 December) and Colour Dash (Friday 13 December).
