Sport

We have had a busy start to term 4 with our sport here at OOPS. Thanks to all the teachers and parents for coaching and driving our teams to the different events and all who have cheered our kids on.

Volleyball

Congratulations to our 5/6 volleyball team who finished runners up in our district. They played Surrey Hills PS in a grand final last Wednesday in a very close game. Thanks Michelle and Charlotte for coaching and encouraging the kids.

Division Athletics

Division Athletics was held on Monday 14th. We had 13 students represent OOPS at the Division level. I was so proud of their efforts leading up to and on the day. We had some fantastic results from our students and a lot of personal bests. Congratulations to Lyla and Sophie from grade 6 who both have progressed to Regional Athletics next Thursday! We wish them luck.

Cricket

Our mixed 5/6 cricket team has progressed to Division. They played ST Thomas PS in a tense final last Friday which came down to the last ball. Thanks to Tom for coaching and umpiring the game! Good luck to our boys will be playing Division round robin on the 31st of October, hopefully they spook the competition.
