What's Happening in Visual Art – Clay, sewing, sculpture

Students have continued to enjoy a variety of visual art activities during lessons.

Year 6 students have been decorating calico tote bags by drawing with fabric markers and adding embellishments using a needle and thread to sew.

Year 5 students have been making a 3D sculpture using wire, wood, masking tape, modroc, magiclay and paint inspired by the artwork of Columbian born artist Gustavo Ramirez Cruz.

Year 4 students have begun to work with clay, while 3W are working on masks.

Foundation to Year 2 students will soon begin working with clay.

Congratulations to all students who express their creativity, persistence while being safe, inclusive and a respectful learner.
