Principal's Report

Carly Avery

Dear Parents and Friends,

My apologies for the late newsletter as I have been away sick.

What a great evening last Saturday night. It was wonderful to see so many of you there enjoy the Trivia and Silent Auction. This was a great evening and came together through the work of a small but solid committee. We certainly hope to build on this group in 2025. I would like to thank the committee involved in organising the evening, a great team effort. Also, wonderful that we raised just over $2000 for work on the St. Joey’s Cafe.

Congratulations also to our senior students, led by Whitney and Mark, in their organisation and running of the Street Stall at Beechworth Bakery's 40th celebrations. This was a great opportunity for our students to plan, organise and run a stall, as well as showcasing our amazing students in our community.

Illness

Please be aware that we have several cases of Covid at the moment. Tests are available at the office. We appreciate you keeping students home until symptom-free.

STEAM Expo

A wonderful afternoon showing some student learning in STEAM.

Administration Area

With the painting work finished we are back in our administration area. It is great to be back in the normal swing of things. A reminder that first aid is back in the administration area, and any late arrivals/ early pickups are to be notified by an adult at the office. Our music room has been moved downstairs to the small meeting room near the art room. Thanks for your patience with our temporary office.
