Our thoughts are with our Year 12 students as they sit their final examinations. I would like to congratulate them on the energy and determination they have brought to the start of the HSC examinations this week. Their resilience and commitment to their studies, especially during this critical time, are commendable. I encourage them to stay focused and continue to pace themselves as they navigate the upcoming examinations.
On the first day back this term, we held an information evening for our Year 12 2025 parents and students. During this event, students received access to their Year 12 assessment booklet and important information regarding the rules and procedures that will guide them through their HSC year. In addition, we provided valuable hints on how they can establish good and effective study habits that will support their success.
Students will begin receiving notifications for their final tasks in various courses. I encourage them to start preparing early for these tasks. Developing good notes, practicing past questions, and seeking feedback from teachers are all strategies that can lead to improved responses in assessments. These proactive habits will build a strong foundation for success.
