School Wide Teaching and Learning
In each edition of our school newsletter, we share with our community an insight into the curriculum being taught within our classrooms. This reflects our school's strong focus upon continuous improvement.
Each edition covers a different area of the curriculum, and is supported by our school-wide approaches to teaching and learning.
On our Curriculum day this term, all staff were involved in a deep dive focusing on the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0. The VTLM 2.0 is a new and updated model for teaching and learning used in Victorian State schools. The Curriculum Day gave staff a chance to explore specific areas of the VTLM 2.0 and share their knowledge back with the rest of the staff.
A huge congratulations to the seventeen Year Three to Six students that completed one or more of the ICAS Assessments this year. It was great to see you all tackle the assessments with confidence.
All results are now available through the online portal. Once certificates arrive at school, these will be presented to the students.

All Year Three to Six students have now had the opportunity to share their student voice into the next round of student agency electives. Keep your eyes out for the upcoming Compass post which will allow students to rank in order their preferences for the new elective round.
Some of the Term Four electives include paleontology, robotics, sports, 3MDR - Radio station, zoology and many more. It is sure to be an exciting term of fun and learning.
