Book an Adventure!

We LOVED our Book Week celebrations. 

Our students were lucky enough to participate in an author session through the National Gallery of Victoria. We listened to Jacqueline Harvey share how she generated her ideas for book series including: Alice Miranda, Clementine Rose, and Kensy and Max. We also spent some time in this session generating our own ideas for a narrative.

Well done Three/Four students on your amazing dress-ups! We LOVED seeing you become your favourite characters.

Arrabri Lodge Camp!

We had an amazing time away at Arrabri Lodge Camp. The students demonstrated the school values of respect, responsibility and especially resilience. For many of our students it was their first time away from home. A huge thank you to our four parent volunteers who gave up their time to come to camp with us!

Reminders

It is an expectation in Year Three and Four, that students are reading for 20 minutes each night and recording their reading into their diary. Students can choose how they read: independently, to an adult, to a sibling, or even to a teddy or pet.

We are focusing on learning our times tables, and last term each student came home with a laminated times table chart. It is expected that students are practicing their times tables at home each night.
