Bully No Way Week August 11 -15

Each year we spend time exploring the theme of Bully No Way Week as they always align very much with our values and often our Be Statements. I think this year they align as closely as the ever have!

The theme for this year is

Be Bold

Be Kind

Speak up

Students explored these concepts and strategies this week:

Day 1: Be BoldYou can say things like:

“That’s not cool, stop it.”

“Let’s go, you don’t have to deal with this.”

Day 2: Small actions make big impact

Give someone a compliment today. Say hello to someone new. Stand up for someone who’s alone.

These little things matter more than you know.

Day 3: Speak up

When you speak up, you become an upstander—someone who chooses to help instead of watching from the sidelines.

Day 4: Think before you post or speak

Be the kind of person who uses words to support, not to harm. Use your voice to spread positivity and respect.

Day 5: Have a whole community approach

Every positive action you take—no matter how small—

can help create a safer, kinder school and community.
