Dear Parents,
The Circus is well and truly in town! Our Artist in Residence Program with The Circus Crew has all levels learning circus skills and the students are loving it. We are sure you are hearing all about the program. Please ensure that the performance date, Thursday 18th September, is in your calendars. Details regarding tickets and the rehearsal day will be shared in coming weeks.
Principal Appointment Update
The process of appointing our new Principal is in the final stages and there will be an announcement from Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) in coming days.
Walkathon Friday 8th August
All is prepared and waiting for our annual Walkathon, this Friday.
Each level has a particular theme, listed below. Regardless of the theme students must be dressed suitably for the weather and wear runners. This is an important fundraiser for our school and all money raised will contribute to the rejuvenation and improvement of the turf areas around the adventure playground.
A reminder that all permission forms must be returned to ensure all students can participate in this fun and very successful fundraising event.
The themes for each level are :

St Bernard’s Day
On Wednesday 20th August it is St Bernard’s Day. All students will attend Mass at 9:30am in the Church and parents and families are welcome to join us. A hotdog and drink will be provided for lunch and a zooper dooper at the end of the day.
Permission forms were sent home yesterday. Please complete the form and return to school by next Wednesday 13th August.
First Eucharist- Family Faith Night
A reminder to our Year 3/4 students who are celebrating their First Eucharist, next Wednesday 13th August at 7pm they will have their second Family Faith night. Pauline Cicutto, from MACS will facilitate this session as a part of the preparation for this important Sacrament.
If your child is making their First Eucharist, both you and your child are required to attend.
If your child is not making their First Eucharist or is receiving a Blessing, attendance is not required - but you are most welcome to join us!

AI (Artificial Intelligence) & the Digital Generation Free webinar
A reminder the Catholic Network Australia (CNA) and Cyber Safety Project are hosting a free ‘AI & the Digital Generation’ webinar for parents and carers of primary and secondary school students on Monday 11 August 2025 from 7.30 to 8.00 pm. This is a particularly important and topical issue for all parents to learn about so we encourage you to attend.

PL Day - Friday 22nd August
A reminder Friday 22nd August is a PL day and there is no school for students on this day. OSHC is available on this day, bookings are essential.
