Term 3 Program Support Group Meetings are taking place on Monday the 8th and Tuesday the 9th September. Bookings are now open via the school interviews platform. Please refer to the Parent Letter for further details.
What is a Program Support Group (PSG) and When is it Set Up?
A Program Support Group (PSG) is a team of people who work together to support your child’s learning and wellbeing at school. It includes you, school staff, and sometimes other professionals who know your child well.
A PSG is usually set up when a student needs a bit of extra support—this could be for learning, social or emotional needs, behaviour, cultural background, health, or overall wellbeing. The goal is to make sure the right people are working together to plan the best support for your child.
The group meets once a term, to talk about how your child is going, make plans, and put in place any extra support or adjustments they might need to help them feel included and succeed at school.
The PSG may also help develop and review a range of plans tailored to your child’s needs. These might include:
These plans help ensure your child gets the right support in the right way.
We look forward to meeting with you and working together to support your child.
