Book Week Library Visit and Character Dress-Up Parade, our 3 Year Old Groups' First Adventure

To celebrate Book Week, our 3-year-old group went on their very first visit to the school library, where they were warmly welcomed by librarian, Debbie. For many of the children, this was their first time in the library, and they felt very excited as they walked outside of Kinder and on to the school grounds to explore. Debbie thoughtfully prepared a wonderful selection of books on the table for the children to discover and enjoy during their visit.

The library visit also doubled as a practice walk for the upcoming Book Week Parade. We are very grateful to be able to participate and to see the youngest members of the school community included in this special event. From the morning at Kinder, the children were all very delighted to see the older students dressed up in their favourite book character costumes which they can see from their classroom window.

The children felt proud and supported by their siblings who were also part of the parade, and encouraged by their families who came along to see them. This experience indeed was a memorable one for children as it helped them feel more connected to the school community, while also serving as a beautiful reminder of shared celebration and inclusion.

Thank you
