Year 3/4

It has been a busy three weeks in the 3/4 rooms. We had a visit from Marie to go over the swimming program and discuss with the kids some of the activities they would take part in and to talk about swim safety. This week we have started the swim program and all of the kids have been doing a great job at transitioning to and from the pool as well as in the pool.

Last week we celebrated Science Week with a great science night at school where families were able to come and experience some different areas of science such as force, construction and technology. 

In the classrooms we have been working hard on our multiplication fluency and have produced some fantastic results on our 99maths tests. The students have been learning about time and division as well as fractions.

For our Topic, we have been using Makers Empire to look at stadiums and their features. The students have started creating their own Olympic stadium for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic games.
