SAKG- Preps

PN and PA have been busy in the garden. Propagating rosemary plants from cuttings dipped in honey to help them grow. Collected vegetable seeds from zucchinis, tomatoes, capsicum and pumpkins to dry and grow when the weather warms up. Raking up leaves to tidy the school and add to our compost. Planted lettuce seedlings into the garden. Pressed flowers and leaves into calico using a rubber mallet to create beautiful artwork. 

 

In the kitchen PN and PA have prepared and cooked pizza, we kneaded and rolled the dough, then topped with delicious toppings; ham/capsicum/mushrooms, potato/rosemary/parmesan and pumpkin/feta. The following week we made seeded flatbreads, Salad of the Imagination, rhubarb muffins and mini frittatas. We set tables in our dining space with crockery, cutlery and water cups. We then share the dishes and enjoy our delicious food.
