From David

Thank you to everyone for your support of this year’s NAIDOC event last Thursday. This event is always a highlight of the school year and is such a great way to bring our community together for a day of valuable learning, acknowledgment and fun.

The day began with a breakfast of toasties provided by TPS staff. We were fortunate to have Wurundjeri elder Perry Wandin providing the Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony accompanied by informative stories and his personal history as a proud Wurundjeri man. This was followed by a rotation of activities that centred around the theme ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud’. The day finished with a community barbeque and the amazing performance by Mitch Tambo which had everyone bouncing and wanting more.

Congratulations to the school NAIDOC Day committee for their organisation of the day and to the Social Committee for their support with the community barbeque.

2024 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.

Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 29 July to Friday 30 August 2024.

All families are invited to participate in the survey.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

Individual Parent Log In details and information will be sent to families on Monday 29th of July.
