Grandparents Liturgy
This Friday we will celebrate Grandparents Day (a week early) with a Liturgy and a school walk around. The Feast of St Anne and St Joachim celebrates the grandparents of Jesus, Mary’s Mum and Dad. Chosen as the grandparents of Jesus you would imagine like most of our parents and grandparents they were loving, supportive role models who handled the good with the bad. We hope you can join us Friday at 10 am in the MPB at Sacred Heart College to celebrate the important role grandparents and the many grandparent figures we and our children have in our lives. Following the Liturgy, you are welcome to come back to school for morning tea in the Mercy Centre and then after recess all families are invited to join their children in their learning spaces and for a walk around the school. Everyone is welcome.
Reconciliation
Term three is another busy term with the Year 3 students making their First Reconciliation in Week 8. An enrolment form will be sent home to all year 3 students next week. If there are students in Year 4 and above who have missed the opportunity to make this sacrament previously, please let me know and I will send you an enrolment form. Have a great week everyone.
