Year 5/6Â
Endeavour ProgramÂ
This term, our Year 5 and 6 students are taking part in one of the most exciting parts of their learning journey - becoming Change Makers!Â
As the culmination of their work in the Endeavour Program this year, students are stepping into the role of leaders and problem-solvers by designing and leading their own projects aimed at making a positive difference in the community and the wider world. Students have been encouraged to choose a project that is meaningful to them, as this connection gives their work greater purpose, passion and impact.
Â
Each student (or small group) has chosen one of three project pathways and their creative ideas are starting to take shape. The 3 project pathways offered are:

Â
From sustainability-focused initiatives to fundraising and awareness campaigns for important causes, our changemakers are showing compassion, creativity and a real sense of purpose.
Â
Here are just a few examples of the wonderful projects already underway:
Refurbishing Discarded Tennis Racquets â gifting them to local children in need
Â
Itâs been inspiring to watch students take ownership of their ideas and begin putting their plans into action. The energy and initiative across the cohort has been great to see. A friendly reminder that these projects are not designed to add extra work for families. Your encouragement and support are always appreciated but please donât feel any pressure to contribute financially or take on extra tasks at home. If your childâs project starts to feel a little overwhelming or if you have any questions, please reach out to their classroom teacher.
Â
We canât wait to see the amazing impact these projects will have on both our school community and the wider world - our young changemakers are already making us proud! â¤ď¸â¨
