Congratulations to our Athletes!

Congratulations to the nine students who proudly represented Miners Rest Primary School at the Greater Western Region Track and Field Event!

They competed in very tough, windy and freezing conditions, showing outstanding determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. Each of our athletes performed exceptionally well in highly competitive fields.

Well done to the following students who competed last Friday at Llanberris:

Emma W – long jump, high jump – 3rd 

Addy P – shot put – 2nd

Edwin B – 200m heat 2nd 

Alirah D – shot put– 4th 

Fletcher P – shot put– 4th 

Hailey A – long jump

Victoria – 200m

Ned H – triple jump – 3rd 

Levi H – long jump – 1st, 100m – 3rd, shot put – 1st

A special mention goes to Levi H and Addy P who have now progressed through to the State Championships in Melbourne on November 6th, 2.
