Junior School News

We cannot believe that we have reached the final term of 2025! After a much needed break, the students from Prep to Year Two have run full speed into their learning and all the exciting events that school life has to offer. As the weather has warmed up, we have already embraced the shining sun with lunches and lessons outside, as well as a new craze of skipping hitting our lunch and recess times.

Dancing our hearts out!

On Friday, we were so lucky to have the opportunity to partake in a whole school dance incursion, run by a very enthusiastic dancer who showed the students how to move and groove.

The Junior school partook in the incursion together dancing to ‘I feel better when I’m dancing’. It was wonderful to see all students give their best go, laugh and embrace the new experience.

Rosary Beads

On Friday, we had a special visit from Father Martin to talk to the Junior School about the purpose and importance of Rosary Beads.

Students learnt that they are used for prayer but also as an important symbol of the church.

The beautifully decorated STEM room sparkled under twinkling fairy lights, creating the perfect setting for stories, songs, and giggles. Students enjoyed sausages and Zooper Doopers before snuggling in to watch Sing together. It was such a special way to build confidence, connection, and excitement for future adventures like school camps. What a heartwarming night to remember!

The Year Ones have shone in tackling new concepts with confidence and a positive attitude towards their learning.
