Foundation Folk Trees

Foundation students are deep in the planning process for a folk tree watercolour painting. Last week we had a shortened lesson due to swimming, so were introduced to different types of trees and found out how trees change due to the seasons. We had a short practice of drawing different types of trees using a drawing guide. 

This week students are drawing their favourite trees onto some good quality paper, before tracing with black marker and painting with watercolour paints. 

Foundation News – Maths Groups

This week in Maths, our Foundation students have been working on block construction during group time. They explored shapes, balance, and problem-solving while building their own creative block models. The students enjoyed using their imagination and worked beautifully together to make various pictures. We are so proud of their teamwork and creativity!
