From the Principal

Welcome to Term 4!

It’s hard to believe we’ve already farewelled our Year 12 General students and are now on the final stretch toward the WACE exams. Time certainly flies!

Term 4 has started smoothly, with our Year 11 students returning refreshed and ready to finish the year strong. With just over four weeks remaining in this six-week term, it’s sure to pass quickly.

Each year, I receive requests from parents and students seeking early release for Year 11s to assist with harvest. My position on this remains consistent: early leave and early completion of assessments will not be approved. Students are expected to honour their commitment (as discussed in the enrolment interview) to remain at school until the end of Week 6.

Departing early means missing out on vital content and assessments across all learning areas, the completion of the harvesting Unit of Competency, and progress on their major Trades projects. Since my time here, I’ve already adjusted the finish date from Week 8 to Week 6 to support students in gaining harvest experience and assisting at home, while still ensuring their educational outcomes are met.

We appreciate your continued support in maintaining these expectations and ensuring our students finish the year with success.

Royal Show Success

A massive congratulations to all of our students who completed at this year's Royal Show. You represented the College with pride and showcased your knowledge and skills. Special shout out to the 'AWI Future Breeders Challenge' and 'Pigs in Schools' overall competition champion groups!

Parent/Student Information Session (Week 3)

Next Tuesday at 6.30pm we have an online parent/student information session to update current Year 11 and 2026 incoming students and parents regarding some changes to the timetable for next year. An email with a Teams meeting link will be sent to parents.
