Sports Day 2024

Our recent Sports Day was nothing short of spectacular, with students showcasing their athleticism and teamwork, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect, setting the stage for an event filled with excitement and camaraderie.

 

It was truly heartening to witness our students giving their all, embodying our school values of Love, Optimism and Creativity. The spirit of good sportsmanship could be felt throughout the day as students from different teams cheered each other on, highlighting the true essence of friendly competition.

 

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all staff, volunteers, spectators and families who contributed to the seamless execution of the event, your dedication and support are truly appreciated. We also would like to recognise the following people for their contributions: 

  • Jason Wain, our dedicated PE Teacher & Sports Coordinator. Mr Wain played a pivotal role in orchestrating the day's activities. 
  • Michael Barratt & Ian Voight, their invaluable support from our maintenance team ensured that set up and pack down ran smoothly and the day was a success.
  • Thank you also to Wendy Janetzki and Cathy George for their meticulous scorekeeping, ensuring accuracy in the results. 
  • Deputy principals Claudia Deanshaw and Brett Humphrys also deserve recognition for their organisation, guidance and support.

As the day drew to a close, the final scores were tallied, revealing the triumphs of all House teams: 

  1. Pari (Blue) - 1697.2 points
  2. Tirntu (Yellow) - 1627.1 points
  3. Kardla (Red) - 1623.3 points
  4. Wirra (Green) - 1490.09 points
