SCHOOL NEWS

Dear McKinnon Community,

The Year 11 Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies class is looking to revegetate around the school oval. We have been studying the different biomes and the cycles within them. We have been looking at biodiversity and sustainability opportunities here at McKinnon Road Campus.

We are hoping to increase biodiversity to encourage native wildlife back into our school yard!  We are calling for anyone who would like to help us out by donating some native plants or know any family members who would be interested in giving some tips about native plants and sustainability. If you have any contacts with nurseries and or other companies who might be willing to give us a hand that would also be fantastic!

Please see a list of suggested native plants below. For more ideas there is a link to native plants from the Glen Eira area. There will be a box at the front office where you can drop donated plants to help us out!
