Sometimes things at home or in a relationship are not OK and you need some help and support. At The Orange Door, we are here to listen to you and help you to get the support you need quickly and easily. We work with all types of families and support can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of you and your family members. All families can experience difficult times and sometimes need extra help and support for a range of reasons.

We will listen to you and your family to understand the difficulties you’re facing and what your family needs, ask what you would like to happen next.

People who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander can choose to be supported by an Aboriginal worker at The Orange Door or be referred to an Aboriginal service.
Cultural and religious preferences are respected. We work with multicultural communities to meet the diverse needs of families.
We welcome everyone, regardless of migration status. You can seek help or support if you are a migrant or a refugee or do not have permanent residency.
There are multiple ways to access help and support from The Orange Door, including face-to-face, and via phone or email. Tell us if you have special requirements, for example if you use communication aids or require an interpreter, including Auslan. You don’t need a referral. Search by suburb or postcode to find a service near you.
The Orange Door is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (closed public holidays). Out-of-hours support is available.
Disability Inclusion is part of the Government’s approach to inclusive education. It provides extra support for students with disability in Victorian Government schools and is improving the way students are supported in government schools.
Government schools will change from the Program for Students with Disabilities to Disability inclusion. Once started, the transition takes 3 years. At the end of Term 1, Pakenham Springs will start the transition from Program for Students with Disabilities to Disability Inclusion.
