Earth and Environmental Science Field Trip

Last Tuesday, the Year 11 E&E class ventured to Bungawarra to complete a soil analysis depth study. The students enjoyed a lovely, sunny day, putting their shoulders into the digging of holes, taking soil samples and filling in holes at each site. It was a great opportunity to bond as a class while learning how soils are the ‘cornerstone’ of a healthy and productive ecosystem.

I would like to express my thanks to Mr David Horwood who drove the bus both to and from Bungawarra and offered his wisdom and support throughout the day.
