Playground Support Training

Selected students from Year 5 and 6 were chosen to represent the school as Playground Support mediators for 2024. They participated in two days of training where they learned skills and strategies to help them support students with any issues when on the playground. They have learned about empathy, reframing, and how to boost their social skills. They worked together as they role-played different scenarios with each other. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and they are excited to go out into the playground and help students using the steps they’ve learned.
