University Visit

Year 12 Uni-Ready students visited Murdoch and Curtin universities last Friday. At Murdoch students were treated to a visit to the veterinary anatomy lab (so many cool specimens to learn from), the butchershop (where they research all matters meat) and the brand new building built for multipurpose learning. 

At Curtin Uni students were able to participate in an experiment in the molecular biology lab which is researching disease resistance in barley crops.  The winners..........Summer, Madi and Millah completed the task correctly first! Well done!

They then moved on to a Commerce session where they were participating in a fierce competition on marketing. 

Students were given a rundown of potential career pathways and course opportunities on offer at each of the universities.  A fun and productive day all round.
