FRESH FETTUCCINE AMATRICIANA WITH OUR YEAR 12s
An exciting culinary adventure undertaken by some of our talented Year 12 students! On Monday, a group of enthusiastic seniors from our graduating class decided to whip up some delicious fettuccine pasta from scratch.
Under the guidance of our food studies teacher, Ms Tulloch, the students embarked on a journey into the art of pasta-making. Armed with flour, eggs, and rolling pins, we transformed simple ingredients into strands of delectable fettuccini.
The kitchen buzzed with energy and laughter as the students kneaded the dough, rolled it out, and cut it into perfect ribbons of pasta. Teamwork was essential as they collaborated on various tasks, from mixing ingredients to carefully monitoring the boiling water.
As the aroma of freshly cooked pasta filled the air, the students eagerly plated their creations, topping them with sauces and herbs. With smiles of satisfaction, they were then able to feast on their creations, indulging in the rich flavours of their handcrafted fettuccini.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Tulloch and Ms Robinson for their guidance and support in making this culinary adventure possible.
Good luck to the Year 12 Food Studies students and their cooking as they embark on their final months at our school!
