Thought provoking perspectives on Writing Environment 

On Thursday 20 June, our annual Talkfest writers’ event took place in the NHS Theatre. This year’s theme focussed on environment, nature and Country. Our panel of authors included Alice Robinson, Harry Saddler and Jeanine Leane, with Ruth Clare expertly facilitating a fascinating discussion. Each of the authors brought an interesting and thought-provoking perspective to the topic. Over the hour of discussion, we heard why these themes were important to each author and how they were tackled in their various works.  

Many thanks to Fairfield books who were onsite for the evening as well as to the Stella Prize, UQP and Jacinta Dimase Literary Agency for their donations to our silent auction.
