ANZAC DAY THANKS
Paul Mensch from Mildura RSL presented Lilliana Bertalli with a framed photo of her singing the Australian National Anthem at the Mildura ANZAC Day service this year.
On behalf of the RSL, Paul wanted to pass on his gratitude and appreciation to Lilliana for assisting on the day, and in particular for singing at three Mildura services throughout the morning. Well done Lilliana!
CANCER COUNCIL STAFF FUNDRAISER
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer.
The Cancer Council is Australia's leading cancer charity that works across every aspect of every cancer.
The Cancer Council supports people impacted by cancer, speaks out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empowers people to reduce their cancer risk, and helps find new ways to better detect and treat cancers.
On Thursday 30 May, college staff held a special morning tea at the Enright Campus to raise awareness and funds for cancer detection and treatment research, as well as support services for those affected by cancer. A total of $1498 was raised through cash donations, a silent auction, and a raffle. As a group, staff enjoyed a lovely morning tea while raising funds for a worthwhile cause that many of us have encountered personally in the lives of our own family and friends.
