STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

MALAKAI DURBIDGE
Year 11 student Malakai Durbidge represented NSW at the Blackball Australia Pool Association (BAPA) National Championships in Canberra during the Term 1 school holidays. He also participated in the Indigenous All-Stars Challenge in Canberra around the same time.
Malakai placed 98th out of 129 male players in the adult competition. The president of BAPA invited Malakai to represent Australia as a Junior in the 2024 Blackball World Pool Championships in England. Malakai now has his sights on the competition in October, when he will join the Australian team in Bridlington, Yorkshire.

HAZEL WOWS AT EISTEDDFOD
Hazel Symonds, Year 10 student, vocal powerhouse winner of the Carpenter's Classic, and last year's Matilda Wormwood has enjoyed a very successful string of performances at the Eisteddfod.
