From the School Leadership Team

L'équipe de direction de CJC

Dear CJC community,

Parent – Teacher Interviews

As we wrap up another successful term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our recent Parent-Teacher Interviews. It was truly heartening to see such strong engagement and constructive conversations between parents and teachers. Your active involvement ensures that we continue to foster a supportive learning environment for all our students.

I would like to extend my gratitude to all parents who attended these meetings. Your partnership is invaluable, and together, we can work towards your child’s academic and personal growth.

La Fete De La Musique

Our recent la Fete de la Musique was an absolute success, thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of our parent organisers. Your efforts truly made the event memorable for our students and staff alike.

I must say, the talent showcased was truly epic! I've heard through the grapevine (or should I say, treble clef?) that Mr. Chant was particularly outstanding. His performance was so pitch-perfect, it struck a chord with everyone in attendance!

Peer Mediators

I am proud to highlight our Peer Mediators for their outstanding work this term. These students have diligently resolved minor conflicts in our schoolyard, fostering a more harmonious environment for everyone. Their dedication to promoting understanding and empathy among their peers has made a significant impact on our school community. As we celebrate their achievements, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to these young leaders for their invaluable contributions. We look forward to their continued positive influence in the upcoming term.

AEFE Competition - Les petits champions de la lecture

Hugo Frenehard, Year 5 student, has been awarded best reader in the whole AEFE Asia Pacific network. Following his success within the Australian network (AAFEBS - French Australian schools - Hugo was the winner in a French Australian reading competition) his video was selected for another reading competition and finally won against the other participants from the 55 French schools of the Asia Pacific zone. An amazing testament to the strength of our literacy program at CJC.  Well done Hugo!!

Richmond Primary School

I will continue my placement at Richmond PS at the beginning of next Term, I will return in Week 3.

As we approach the holiday season, I wish each and every one of you a safe and enjoyable break. May it be filled with moments of joy, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones.

Please note that the school will resume for Term 3 on July 15th. We look forward to welcoming our students back and embarking on another enriching term together.
