A reminder that students can wear their house iron on patches on their school polos. These can be ironed onto students' polos, underneath the Ceres logo. It's great to see some students already wearing theirs!

A huge welcome back to all our Lok-Lok Eagle family members. We hope you have all enjoyed your time off over the holidays and are ready to smash out another term full of fun and success.
Starting off our first week of term 3, we would love to recognise some of the eagles that have been doing us all proud, displaying the school values and Super 7’s. Firstly a huge congratulations to Lily J who has been given a Principal Award for her constant efforts to make other people feel included and welcome in her classroom. Secondly, Logan K has been named the recipient of a Studentship Award due to always greeting his classmate with a smile and his kind nature. George H is also another student who has been awarded the Studentship Award for being the ultimate friend, always doing the right thing and making great choices.
Keep up the great work guys, we love to see it! We have done a great job on the token collecting for the first half of this year, but we think we can take it that step further to guarantee the win over our competitors this second half. Remember to keep doing us proud, show those Super 7’s and always do your best to earn those tokens each and every day.
Remember, Eagles Soar as One!

Welcome back to Term 3, 2024, and the Kanyul Kangaroos are ready to leap into a new term of exciting adventures!
After a dynamic conclusion to Term 2 with events like Big Freeze, Athletics and the JSC Arcade, our core values of encouragement, respect, teamwork, and risk-taking continue to shine through all our students and their amazing growth. As we look to what is ahead in a Big Term 3, we’re thrilled about the opportunities that await for both our Kanyul Kangaroo students and our friends from Lok-Lok Eagles.
Week 1 has been jam-packed with exciting prospects for growth and challenge, including our return to school, NAIDOC Week and House Footy. Coming up in weeks 2 and 3, the Kanyul Kangaroos eagerly await the start of the 2024 Paris Olympics, 100 Days of School for our Foundies and numerous opportunities both in and out of the classroom. With these fantastic events on the horizon, we can’t wait to see our students embrace the Olympic spirit and show that Kanyul house pride through encouragement, resilience and positivity.
We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday break, got some rest and is ready to hit the ground running. We can’t wait to see more amazing achievements and big smiles everyday! Keep it up Kangaroos.
