Scholastic Book Club Issue 5
Students will come home with Issue 5 of the Scholastic Book Club next week.
All ordering is completed through the LOOP and orders close Friday 2nd August
Did you know that every purchase you make on Book Club earns our school 15% of the order value in Scholastic Rewards? We use these to purchase more books and educational resources for the school. It all helps!
2025 Enrolments
A reminder that Foundation enrolment applications for 2025 are due Friday 26th July. If you know anyone interested in enrolling for Foundation for next year please remind them of this deadline.
If you are planning on moving on from Ceres PS next year please notify us as soon as possible.
Ceres' Schools Tree Day
We will again be participating in National Tree Day with Ceres PS getting involved on Monday 5th August. Last year we saw an amazing contribution from our community and were extremely grateful for the donations we received and the effort from many in our community to revitalise the entrance of the school.
This year we will be focussing our efforts on the area near our new playground. To assist with the purchase of plants, we would be grateful for any donations through QKR (https://qkr-store.qkrschool.com/store/#/home) to purchase one of the below options that will be planted on the day:
Option 1 $10 (Native shrub/grass)
Option 2 $15 (Native bush)
Option 3 $20 (Native plant)
Option 4 $60 (Tree)
We would love to have any volunteers on the day who were able to lend a hand, further information on this and on the activities for students to participate in will follow.
Scholastic Book Fair - Advanced notice
The Scholastic Book Fair is returning in Week 6 for 2024.
The Book Fair runs from 8.35-8.45 and 3.00-3.15 Monday - Friday of the week.
We will be looking for parent helpers to assist with running of the fair - keep an eye out in coming weeks to sign up!

Fresh Meal Fairy Canteen
A reminder that canteen orders are to be placed by 9pm the Thursday before delivery at school on Friday and are to be placed through the Flexischools app.
