St Kilda Mums

This term Year 10 Healthy Minds Healthy Habits students had the wonderful opportunity to contribute to St Kilda Mums and host a drive at school. St Kilda Mums collects essential baby and children’s items and works with social workers and maternal and child health nurses to rehome them to babies and children in need. We made donation points around the school and collected things like nappies, microwave sterilisers, toiletries, clothes, books and toys. We then packaged everything up and shipped it off to St Kilda Mums. 

In the end we had two boxes of items that will be processed, cleaned, organised and divided into packages for the recipients. 

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible community members of MGSC who have generously donated to this amazing cause, to help out the mothers that may be struggling with providing essentials sources for their newborns/ little ones.
