Inside the Human Body

'Inside the Human Body' classes, a Year 10 Heath and PE elective, recently visited The Harry Brookes Allen Museum of Anatomy and Pathology at Melbourne University with their teachers Mr Phil Hull and Ms Charlotte Davies.

The museum is one of Australia's largest collections of human tissue specimens, animal anatomy specimens, and historical anatomical models, offering students a unique insight into the human body. In class the students study the muscular, skeletal and cardiorespiratory systems. The students also got to walk around the university to get a feel for university life.

Sport Coaching

In the Year 9 Sports Coaching class students learnt Australian Rules umpiring skills. They then demononstrated their knowledge on the ultimate 'big stage' - the MCG. During Geelong  and Carlton's ANZAC Day round clash they umpired Auskick matches at half-time of the  match. What an experience. Well done to the students.
