Senior School Geography Exposition

On the 2nd of July, All of Seniors ( Year 5 & 6 ) had a Geography Expedition around Asia! Each student had to work on a major cultural study and a self made house related to their country. Every student contributed and the traditional Asian houses looked amazing! Everyone had around a term to work on their inquiry projects and then present it to the entire school. Parents and Classes were came to see how we did and many people were shocked by how fantastic our work was. There were games, decorations, fun facts and the self made STEAM houses. It was a blast! The Parents and the School students were all very kind. Overall everything went very smoothly, for the Seniors and all the visitors in the Asian Expedition!!

We have been working on this Geography inquiry project for the whole term. It was very exciting to see everyone's STEAM models of the traditional houses that they made for their chosen country. Some of the countries were South Korea, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Malaysia. All of the senior students had a table with their models and slideshows showing. We had the K-6 parents coming in and also the whole school. It was a really enjoyable time speaking with the other grades. We also had to bring tablecloths, signs, posters and lots of decorations for our table. All of our Senior Students' houses were AMAZING!!
