We welcomed the bright eyed and bushy tailed new Year 11 students to Farm for the first time, and it was all business getting inductions done so they can get out and about next time on Farm. Term 1 is all about shearing, and our brave Year 12 shearing team toiled through three 40 plus degree days to keep the shearing program on time!  So, thank you to staff and students for getting everything ready for another jam-packed year full of everything, from shearing to seeding, to marking lambs and calves, harvest, lots of spraying, checking and feeding animals in between.  Strap yourselves in, get ready to get your hands dirty, and enjoy the ride as we take on 2024!  Always remember that joining the ride is always more fun than sitting on the side lines and watching the ride go past…

Weekend Duty

Mrs Corsini would just like to thank all those students who have completed or nominated for their 2 Weekend duties for this year. The rosters are complete, if you are unsure on the date you have been given, please get in contact with Mr de Beer.  Just a reminder that swapping weekend roster is strongly discouraged, but in the event this situation arises, students must give a valid reason, two weeks’ notice to myself, and find another student to replace them.  Students and parents have access to the roster through daily notices, Farm noticeboard, College Chatter and via email.

Upcoming events:

  • Darken Sheepfest 2024
  • Wagin Woolorama 2024
  • Harvey Beef Gate 2 Plate Challenge 2024
