Nourish 2024

The staff of Nourish would like to welcome you back and invite you to attend Nourish this year. We are lucky enough to be offering breakfast every school day and we hope you enjoy some of the changes that we have implemented.

We are now using re-usable cups and cutlery for our milo and toast. We will have a wash up area for you all to use and we will limit the use of the cups to inside the HOPE centre. If you wish to takeaway your milo, please bring your own cup and we can fill it for you. We want to limit the amount of landfill we produce, and I am sure you will all embrace the change.

We will be doing special foods for special occasions and believe me, you won’t want to miss out on Baked Beans/Spaghetti on toast, toasted sandwiches, pancakes or smoothies! It won’t happen every day, so keep an eye out for a message on COMPASS.

Lucien Dimattie has also taken on the role of Vacuum Monitor. It is a very special role that he has volunteered for and one that is taken very seriously. Thanks Lucien for volunteering. This doesn’t mean that you can make a massive mess in the HOPE centre, but if you do have an accidental spill, Lucien is your man.

As you will all notice, Nourish is at the beginning of every morning on COMPASS. This is a special reminder that you are most welcome to attend, however, it is not compulsory and the role is not taken during Nourish.

Finally, we have a team staff leader every morning this year, as well as Dett “Smiling” Harris (every morning). These amazing staff members will have two other staff members to assist and welcome you to school in the most fabulous way possible. They will bring a different twist to every morning, and I would love to introduce you to them now.
