Boarding at Calrossy
What a fantastic start to Boarding in 2024. With our new boarders from Years 7 to 11 joining the school community, we are pleased to see our houses bustling with activity and noise. With our Boarder Prefects and Buddies working hard at making our new boarders feel at home we are so very happy to have the term underway.
Term 1, Wk 1 - Closed Weekend
This past weekend saw the first of the four closed weekends over 2024 and we are pleased to report that it was a roaring success. Our Boarders were involved in so many activities, from Park Run, Ten-Pin Bowling, Treasure Hunts, Boarder Buddy activities, Year 12 hosting a Boarders Dance to the very necessary water activities of Pool and the Giant Water Slides at BSC and Simpson. Whilst the weather was definitely on the warmer side, the boarders certainly did not let that stop them – Photos are on the Boarding Hub page.
A big thank you to all our families in supporting this and assisting in making it possible – It is very much appreciated.
