Connect with Newlands Community

Here are some tips for connecting with community at Newlands, finding out information and supporting each other.

PFA Meeting

The first Parents and Friends Association meeting will be held this coming Tuesday 17th February at 7.30pm to 8.30

In person attendees can come to the School office meeting room or you can join on zoom via this link 

All are welcome, you can come along and see if this committee is for you. We will be holding an AGM in March where we will elect office bearers for the year including President, Secretary, Treasurer and Communications Officer.

Newlands Parents facebook group

There are several facebook groups for each year level but there is also a whole school parents and carers group called Newlands Parents, you can join here https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1DbNxLe1DT/

Newlo-divergent Primary School

For neurodivergent parents and/or parents of neurodivergent kids at Newlands. This is a great group for finding out information and getting support. There is also a WhatsApp group you can ask to join from this facebook group https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1GS7KGJEvu/

WhatsApp groups

Most double class groups have their own WhatsApp groups. Link can be found in the Newlands Parents facebook group or ask a fellow caregiver at drop off or pick up to add you to the group.

Welcome Picnic

The Welcome Picnic will be held straight after school next Friday 20th February at the top oval behind the gym. There will be a BBQ and a cake stall. Bring along your picnic rug and enjoy a relaxed afternoon and early dinner. We will also have 2nd hand uniform sale.

We would greatly appreciate cake stall donations which can be brought straight to the stall behind the gym.
