BEPS SVAT

Hi, we are Josephine and Peyton, and we are the BEPS SVAT captains. SVAT stands for Student Voice Action Team.

SVAT gives students the opportunity to share ideas, represent their classmates, and help make our school even better. As SVAT members, we take on a number of important roles across the school. We support fundraising events, Gardening Club, assemblies and attend weekly SVAT meetings. We also help support classmates and teachers and report back all students’ ideas, feedback and suggestions so that students' voices are heard, valued and acted upon.

This Friday, thanks to the generous donation from Max Andreatta (6K) and his family, every student received a Zooper Dooper. Max, one of our Year 6 students, kindly donated the funds so that every child could enjoy a free treat. Funds raised through this generous gesture will go toward BEPS collaborative work with the World Vision organisation, supporting our sponsored child cause, Minh Son. A big thank you to Max and his family for supporting our school community and helping make a difference beyond our school.

Students will be busy in the upcoming two weeks preparing their speeches, presentations and electing their SVAT representatives. Every class will vote for two students who will be part of the team in 2026.
