Breakfast Club

BEPS Breakfast Club
A Great Start to Every Friday
Each Friday morning from 8:10 am to 8:45 am, the BEPS Breakfast Club offers a warm and welcoming space for students to begin their school day feeling settled, nourished, and ready to learn. As students arrive at school, they are greeted with a healthy breakfast and the opportunity to connect with friends, staff, and our wonderful parent helpers.
Parents and carers are welcome to drop their child or children at Breakfast Club, sign them in, and then leave, with students moving to their classrooms independently after the first bell and staff supporting Foundation students to settle and start the day positively.
Our Breakfast Club provides a range of nutritious, Australian-grown or manufactured foods, including cereal, milk, baked beans, fruit cups, popcorn, toast, jam, vegemite, and honey. These simple and wholesome options help fuel students’ bodies and minds for the day ahead.
A healthy breakfast supports concentration, energy levels, and overall wellbeing. Beyond nutrition, Breakfast Club also promotes the development of important social and life skills, such as table manners, making positive food choices, and building respectful relationships with peers and adults.
Breakfast Club is very much a community effort, and we warmly encourage parents and carers to get involved. Parent helpers play a vital role by assisting with set-up, food preparation and serving, as well as clean-up. It is a wonderful way to support the BEPS community while helping children start their day on a positive note.
If you are available to help with Breakfast Club on any Friday morning, please contact April at yea.white@education.vic.gov.au. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Together, we are not only providing breakfast, but also fostering connection, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging for our students.
Kind regards,
April White
